Gravity die-casting: the Foundry Department
The art and ancient craft of casting takes shape in the foundry. There are seven manual casting stations each consisting of a holding furnace, and four or five chill casting machines. The casting production area is completed by four semi-automated stations with double casting machines and a central furnace that holds 30 tons of molten metal at liquid state, twenty-four hours a day.
Our process works with gravity chill casting. The chill is the mould into which the liquid metal is manually and / or automatically poured, after positioning the core, and which allows to obtain the shape of the casting.
The production capacity of the department is 30 tons of daily production in conditions of maximum efficiency. Highly skilled personnel is employed in this department in order to guarantee the maximum expertise in such a difficult field.
Among the alloys used to produce brass castings according to our customers’ drawings and specifications, there are also alloys that comply with international standards such as UBA and DIN50930.

SAND CORES DEPARTMENT
Let us start at the beginning of our process.
FOUNDRY
In the foundry department, the art and ancient craft of casting takes shape.
FINISHING DEPARTMENT
In the finishing department, core residues inside the workpiece are removed.
MECHANICAL MACHINING
We have a specific department where the mechanical machining of bodies is performed.
MECHANICS
This is where maintenance is carried out on machinery and equipment used in production.
